Tip Thursday - Fake tan

Hey beauties

Todays tip thursday is going to be all about fake tan dos and donts.....

Firstly as many of you are probably aware the key to false tanning is prepping and the first thing you need to do is exfoliate, exfoliate and exfoliate some more! You cannot exfoliate enough especially those dry areas aka knees, elbow, feet....you know the drill!

Secondly moisturise.....slap a bit of moisturiser on all those dry patches, tan tends to cling on to these place so any dry spots moisturise them first!

We are now ready to apply, use a mitt or gloves and work from the legs up (missing out the feet for now) use light circular motions and use the excess from your gloves to go over knees, elbows, feet e.t.c apply a pea sized amount to you face blending it into your neck and hairline! Take off your gloves a put  a pea sized amount on one hand, rub both of the back of your hands together, and use the excess to blend it in to your fingers!

Finally take a dry wash cloth and buff places the tan may cling too like the knees, elbows e.t.c TIP take a cotton bud for smaller areas, acne scars also like to cling onto the tan, for a more even skin tone, use your cotton bud to buff the tan around acne scars!

Maintenance, moisturise all over daily to ensure the tan comes off evenly and does not flake, exfoliate gently after 3 days of applying the tan and again moisturise, moisturise, moisturise!
